Law enforcement officers, in coordination with the New York State Office of Cannabis Management, executed search warrants at the Smoke Rite convenience store located on Main Street in Cohoes. Authorities also conducted operations at a property on White Street.

Following the raids, signs stating "illicit cannabis seized" were posted on the storefronts, and code violation notices were issued. Cohoes Police Chief Todd Waldin confirmed the involvement of state regulators in the enforcement action.

While the investigation resulted in the seizure of property, there were no immediate reports of arrests at the time of the operation. The status of the businesses remains under review by local and state authorities.
