Law enforcement officers, including members of the Office of Cannabis Management, executed search warrants at a mini-mart on Main Street and a property on White Street in Cohoes. The operation resulted in the closure of the Smoke Rite store, where police tape was observed blocking the entrance.

Cohoes Police Chief Todd Waldin confirmed that authorities were on the scene to execute warrants. While officials have not reported any arrests at this time, signs indicating that illicit cannabis had been seized were posted on the storefronts.

In addition to the drug-related enforcement, code violation notices were also placed on the businesses. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have provided limited details regarding the specific findings at the locations.
