An eight-month investigation into the sale of THC products led to coordinated raids on four retail smoke shops in Blackshear, Jesup, and Ludowici, Georgia. Officers from the Georgia Department of Agriculture and three county sheriff's offices served eight search warrants during the operation.

Authorities reported seizing items they identified as marijuana falsely labeled as hemp flower, as well as THCA products that are currently banned under Georgia Senate Bill 494. Several individuals were arrested during the enforcement action.

While officials stated the products violated state law, the investigation remains ongoing. No further details regarding the specific charges for those arrested have been released at this time.
